Coming to the App Store early November.

Food Crave

Recipe discovery, saved favorites, and a community of Cravers.

Food Crave is operated by Kimberlee Creative Tech LLC and is intended for adults 18 and older, initially in the United States.

This guide describes the current launch model, including release candidate 1.0.0 (10); availability depends on your installed app version. Food Crave is currently in TestFlight beta while preparing for public release. All active signed-in Cravers get the full feature set, including AI recipe creation, publishing, photos, following, badges, unlimited favorites, shopping lists, reviews and discussion. No subscription is required for these features.

Free: 20 AI generations per month. Premium: 50 AI generations per month. Build 10 has Premium purchase prompts disabled. The next release candidate is planned to enable optional monthly Premium subscriptions for testing and public release at US$0.99/month, subject to testing and Apple approval. Apple's localized price and purchase sheet confirm the actual price and terms. Both Free and Premium remain free of in-app ads in this release; advertising is deferred to a later update.

Getting started

  1. Browse as a guest, sign in to an existing account, or create a free Craver account with a username and avatar.
  2. Before signup, choose "I am 18 or older" or "I am under 18." Food Crave accounts require an 18+ declaration; an under-18 choice stops the current signup attempt. You may return when you turn 18; a full app restart allows a fresh check without a permanent underage lockout. "Back to welcome" leaves signup; it does not quit the app. Existing accounts without a declaration must complete the same check before continuing. Use "Why do we ask for your age?" for the AI-provider explanation. No exact age or full birth date is requested. Your age details are not shown on public pages.
  3. Read and expressly agree to the Terms of Use and Community Guidelines. Existing accounts must accept the current versions before continuing; reading the Privacy Policy is separate from this agreement. Acceptance records are private.
  4. Open the menu to move between Home, Profile, Search, Create, Kitchen, Cravers, and Help. The Home tile and community page heading read "Craver's Community"; the menu label is Cravers.
  5. In Profile, set your dietary restrictions, food preferences, and ingredients to avoid. Signed-in accounts can sync supported preferences and saved items.

Your username is public in community features; your account email is not displayed on your public profile.

Save and organize in Kitchen

Use a recipe's heart to favorite it. All signed-in Cravers can save unlimited favorites. Kitchen groups your published recipes, private drafts, liked/disliked recipes, favorites, reviews, and stats.

Open a Kitchen collection to see its dedicated page, then use Back to return to Kitchen. Published, My Reactions and Favorites use compact thumbnail tiles like Search. Tap a tile to open the recipe page. My Reactions contains Liked and Disliked tabs. Recipe titles in Reviews are links to recipe pages. Open a draft to edit it. Tile grids become one column at larger text sizes; the expanded navigation menu overlays rather than squeezes the page.

Use likes, dislikes, and tried marks to record your experience. Saved dislikes and restrictions affect supported search results. Open Stats to see your Craver activity and badges.

Create a recipe

AI creation is separate from Search and is available to all active signed-in accounts. Free accounts have 20 AI generations per UTC calendar month; accounts with verified Premium have 50. Usage resets at the start of each UTC month. Creating or successfully revising an AI recipe uses the monthly allowance; local edits and portion scaling do not.

Tap Generate to create directly within your monthly allowance; a subscription is not required. Premium increases the allowance to 50 monthly AI generations. Rewarded ads and the planned footer banner are not active in this release.

When Premium purchasing is enabled, supported native iOS builds will show Apple's localized monthly price before purchase. Premium has no introductory free trial; the former trial and Tester Subscription experiences have been retired. Apple manages billing and cancellation; use Apple's subscription settings to manage an existing subscription. Cancellation preserves verified Premium benefits through the paid-through date, then the account returns to the Free allowance without losing features or account history. Deleting Food Crave or your account does not cancel Apple billing. See the Subscription Terms.

TestFlight purchases use Apple's sandbox and do not charge real money. Purchases in the public App Store app are real purchases charged by Apple. Sandbox subscription periods may run faster than normal monthly periods.

  1. Open Create, describe your craving, and choose the available ingredient, category, skill, and exploration options.
  2. Answer any clarification shown, then explicitly request creation. Your recipe requirements are sent through Firebase AI Logic to Google Gemini on Vertex AI.
  3. Review the result. Save it as a private draft or discard it. Find saved drafts in Kitchen.
  4. Edit and check the draft before publishing. Publishing makes the recipe available to other Cravers; saving a draft does not.

Creation limits apply. The app displays remaining access or limit messages. Do not put passwords or sensitive personal details in prompts.

Recent iOS app updates (availability depends on installed version): Trending Recipes includes Active Chats (activity within 90 days, newest first). Kitchen includes Reviews & Chats with Your Chats for recipes you commented or replied on. Nested sections start collapsed. Red count badges identify other people's new posts; opening the recipe marks chats read. Chat-list recipes open a dedicated page on Chat, keeping Cravers or Kitchen selected in the menu. Kitchen review links open Reviews; other recipe links start on Recipe. Review tiles use a memo icon, chat tiles a speech bubble. Tab labels are text-only and can be scrolled horizontally with arrows at larger text sizes. Home descriptions highlight describing cravings, custom generated recipes based on flavor profiles, reactions, stats and discussions.

Photos, reviews, and other Cravers

Use the photo controls to choose an image or take a photo when prompted. Only upload images you have permission to share. Recipe, gallery and profile uploads are available to all active signed-in Cravers without a subscription; a recipe's display-photo and gallery rules may differ.

In Profile, choose whether your profile photo is displayed publicly or your avatar is used instead. Your username remains public.

Visit Craver's Community through the Cravers menu to browse public profiles, publishing activity and leaderboards. Following and badges are available to all active signed-in Cravers without a subscription. Published recipe cards have Recipe, Reviews, Chat and Gallery folder tabs at the top; each opens its own view. Options contains full-screen reading, sharing and shopping lists. Everyone can read reviews and recipe chats; signed-in Cravers can write/edit/delete their own reviews and chat comments/replies and report others' contributions. Reviews allow 100 characters and no replies. Reviews, chat comments and replies have separate thumbs-up/down reactions: tap again to clear or choose the other icon to switch. Chat allows 1,000 characters and one reply level, with no optional labels. Reaction/action icons occupy a compact bottom row. Use the ↩️ reply control to view/write replies, the pencil to edit your chat contribution and the X to request deletion with confirmation. You cannot react to your own contributions.

Use the in-app report controls for a recipe, review, or Craver. Reports enter a private admin queue; reporting alone does not automatically hide content. Admin suspension blocks access and quarantines the user's public profile, published recipes, reviews, and contributed photos for review. Restoration reenables content that has not been separately deleted. Already downloaded or cached copies cannot be recalled.

After review, the admin can permanently delete the account and uploads, retaining only explicitly approved recipes as Shared Library. Retained reviews/discussion appear anonymously as Craver; separately rejected content stays hidden or deleted. Craver-to-Craver blocking is not currently implemented.

Manage your account

Open Profile to manage account details, password/reset controls, avatar or photo visibility, and preferences. Account changes may require your current password or an email confirmation.

To delete your own account, select Delete account in Profile, enter your current password, and confirm permanent deletion. Published recipes that are not separately moderated or removed remain in the shared catalog as Shared Library entries without your name or profile link. Reviews and discussion comments/replies remain anonymously attributed to Craver. Your profile is removed from Craver's Community, including leaderboards and follower/following lists, and your follow relationships are deleted. Retained recipes may still appear in Community recipe trends as Shared Library entries. Read the Privacy Policy for retained records and cleanup limitations.

Suspending an account is not deleting it. If your account is suspended or deletion fails, contact support. Never send us your password.

Suspension, review, and permanent removal

A report asks the operator to review an issue; it does not automatically suspend an account or remove content. Admin suspension is a temporary restriction, not account deletion.

  1. Suspension: app access is blocked and the Craver's public profile, published recipes, reviews, and contributed photos are hidden as quarantine completes. Content is retained privately so the admin can inspect it.
  2. Review: the admin reviews the account and content. If access is restored, content that has not been separately deleted becomes available again. Deleted items are not recreated.
  3. Permanent removal: the admin may delete the account, uploaded photos, and recipes that are not explicitly approved for retention. Approved recipes may remain as Shared Library, while retained reviews/discussions become anonymous Craver contributions. Separately rejected content stays hidden or deleted. Deleting a recipe also removes its reviews, discussions and gallery records, including others' contributions.

Permanent deletion cannot be undone. Admin review may delete recipes not approved for retention, unlike self-service account deletion. Retained reviews and discussion remain anonymously as Craver in either case. Existing downloaded or cached copies cannot be recalled. We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service or comply with legal obligations.

Request a suspension review or account-deletion help

Use the Contact Support option shown for a suspended account, or email support@kimberleecreativetech.com from your account email. Include your username, a brief explanation, and whether you are requesting restoration or account-deletion assistance. We may need to verify account ownership; never send a password or verification code.

A suspended account sees the in-app suspension screen and can submit a restoration request or appeal where available. A request does not guarantee restoration. See the retention and deletion information.

Contact support

Email support@kimberleecreativetech.com, or open Help & information → Help in the app to submit the support form.

For account-specific help, use the app's reply checkbox or email from your account address. Include a description of the issue and your app version if available. Never send passwords, verification codes, payment details, or other secrets.

Please allow up to 5 days for a response. If your in-app request needs a reply, select Request a reply to my account email. Guests can email us directly.

The email link opens your email app; it does not send a message until you choose to send it.

Account and community help

Premium follows the Food Crave account used when subscribing, not the phone. Sign in to that Food Crave account on another supported device to use its verified active membership. Another account on the same phone does not inherit Premium. When purchasing is available, Subscribe and Restore Purchases explain if the current App Store account returns a purchase linked to a different Food Crave account. Switch to the original Food Crave account or continue with your current account; a subscription is never automatically transferred. Contact support for help recovering your login, and never send your password.

You can edit preferences and profile-photo visibility in Profile. You can also request account deletion there; you may need to confirm your password.

Use the in-app report controls to report a recipe, review, or Craver. For issues you cannot report in the app, contact support with enough detail to locate the content. Avoid including unnecessary personal information.

Food Crave is not an emergency service or a source of medical advice. Verify recipe ingredients and preparation steps yourself, especially if you have allergies.

Privacy

Before publishing, review the recipe-text permissions and Community Guidelines. Publication is not surrender of ownership; it grants permission for community sharing and commercial reuse and sublicensing of recipe text without royalties. Private drafts, user photos and reviews are not included in that broader license.

Read the Food Crave Privacy Policy for information about accounts, recipes, AI generation, support messages, and deletion.
